WHO WE ARE

Doug’s entry to the field of home inspection was a natural progression from his past experiences in the construction industry and as a firefighter.  Doug’s introduction to construction began after high school, when he earned an apprenticeship with J.H. Johnson Construction Company, regarded as one of the top high end home builders in the Triad.  Through this experience, Doug gained an excellent introduction to construction.  He has used this knowledge to expand his skills in the field of residential remodeling.  He has remodeled everything from decks and garage additions to single rooms and whole houses. Doug has worked as an active, full time fire-fighter for the fire departments of both the village of Clemmons, N.C. as well as for the city of Winston Salem.  He continues this work and we are grateful for his service to our community.  Doug received his training at The Home Inspection Training Center in Burlington, NC.  As a home inspector, Doug is contributing his unique perspective and putting his skills to use for Chris Hilton and Associates.
